~ Showcases South Park's Historic Neighborhood ~

The 10th annual Old House Fair is taking place on Saturday, June 21st, 2008 from 10 am to 4 pm. The event will feature a historic home tour, free half-hour design consultations, walking tours, live music, children's activities and crafts, community booths, food vendors, and local artists and restoration experts. The fair will take place over two blocks in South Park intersecting at 30th and Beech Streets.

Seventy exhibitors and thousands of attendees are expected to attend and participate in this year's activities. The event will feature family friendly activities provided by the San Diego Museum of Art and The Home Depot. Entrance to the Old House Fair is free. Experience a narrated trolley tour for $5; children 12 & under are free. Home tour tickets are only $15.

The quarterly South Park Walkabouts provide pedestrians great opportunities to explore the great shops, enjoy lively entertainment and special treats from local South Park businesses. For a map of the Walkabout route and business participating, CLICK HERE.

The FREE Walkabout trolley route is Beech St between Dale St and Fern, Fern from Beech to Laurel St, 30th st from Fern to Juniper, Grape St from 30th to Fern and Juniper between 30th and 31St
The Fall Walk About is scheduled October 4th and the Winter Walk About is December 6th. If you are a new business and would like to participate contact Joe Grant at Grants Market or Ann Mery at the Grove.
